AS was launched in December ‘24 offering a new approach to helping Founders from the absolute earliest stage of their journey. Focused entirely on the pre-seed tech start-up space Armstrong Studio supply pre-seed or angel funding. It aims to improve the experience for Founders who have a great idea but little money and no customers. Apart from any investment its model is results driven offering Founders support, coaching and advice. To assist delivery Armstrong Studio uses its own proprietary AI powered digital Platform, the result of 3 years Research & Development, from a full scale product team, comprised of UX designers, architects and developers, making it easier for Founders to focus on execution and enable Armstrong to consistently build better quality startups, quicker.
The Group is led by Philip Reynolds, previously of C&D Foods and more recently the Chairman of startup OOHPod parcel lockers. Reynolds is joined at Armstrong Studio by Niamh Flaherty - founder of Irish Sustainability firm Corc Impact – Bert Farrell, Mervyn Graham - both of whom who are well-known in the Irish tech Startup builder scene - and Hungary based, Balazs Bakos head of Venture Platform R&D and previously head of R&D at Nokia.
